Anwesha Saha

PhD Student | Database Systems Researcher

Anwesha Saha

I am a PhD student at Boston University, advised by Prof. Manos Athanassoulis in the DiSC Lab within the MiDAS Group. My current research focuses on Database Systems, specifically designing efficient space-optimized indexing structures. Before this, I worked on robust tuning of LSM Trees. I like exploring data structures that can exploit intrinsic geometry and distribution of data to outperform traditional structures or make existing structures more efficient.

Before joining BU, I spent 3 years as a Software Developer at Oracle, where I contributed to the R&D section of the Communications GBU and gained experience in fullstack development, network performance optimization and benchmarking and log file handling and evaluation.
